Sanjeev Kumar, a founding member of HPKD, brings a vast wealth of experience in the tech industry to the table. Prior to practicing law, Sanjeev co-founded Portal Player, a semiconductor startup, and grew it into a NASDAQ listed company that was responsible for integral portions of the first seven generations of Apple iPods. Sanjeev’s experience includes three decades of involvement with: personal computer and consumer electronics device design and development; system architecture design; embedded firmware and system software, and related technical and business management.
For years, Sanjeev has been on the cutting edge of technological innovation, with more than a decade devoted to the design, development, and implementation of next-generation PC systems and PC system architectures. He has experience in both the engineering and legal sides of the innovation and patent process.
When he is not assisting clients with their legal matters Sanjeev can be found honing his skills on the golf course or exploring the ever-expanding Austin food scene.
